Our Direct Support Professionals play a vital role in our Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) programs.
We are seeking experienced Caregiver Specialists to work directly with children, teens, and young adults ages 3-21 with special needs in their homes and communities. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and their families.
About the Job
This part-time position offers flexible hours, including after-school, evening, and weekend shifts. You will be responsible for implementing behavior plans and programs developed by our clinical supervisors, teaching, role-modeling, and collecting daily data.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with individuals from ages 3-21 with special needs
- Implement behavior plans and programs developed by the clinical supervisor
- Teach, role-model, implement treatment interventions and strategies
- Collect daily data
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and clinical team members
Qualifications/Experience:
- Age requirement: 19 years old (HBTS & ABA), 18 years old (PASS)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass clearances (DCYF, BCI, Driving Record)
- Valid car insurance and registration
- One year of supervised experience working with children, or an Associate's Degree in Human Services, or demonstrate competency to work with children with special health care needs
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Bi-lingual applicants strongly encouraged to apply
Compensation and Benefits:
- $15.00 to $22.00 per hour based on program, education, and experience
- Up to $500 Sign-on Bonus after 120 days
