Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Administrative Support professional to join our team at Scott & Crosby Staffing, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the bimonthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in processing payroll transactions, and administering employee benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the bimonthly payroll processing within ADP, including reviewing employee change requests and ensuring accuracy in processing payroll transactions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Work directly with the Human Resources team on employee on-boarding and off-boarding as it relates to payroll and benefits.
  • Support communication with external vendors, such as ADP and benefit plan administrators.
  • Prepare and analyze payroll and benefits reports for management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with non-profit structures, practices, and organizational cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize effectively, adapt to a rapidly changing dynamic environment, and operate at a sustained fast speed.
  • Five to seven years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration, with experience managing payroll and benefits programs for employers with 100+ employees.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and benefits programs across multiple states and jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now software and intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office.
