About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Internal Medicine Telemetry team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with complex multi-system failure issues, including congestive heart failure and sepsis.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition to post-acute care.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of current acute care RN experience, with consideration given to military RN experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
