Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with internal medicine and telemetry conditions
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, and educate patients and their families on post-discharge care

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods, have corrected vision and hearing, and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids is also a requirement.

Personal Protective Equipment:

You will be required to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as needed.
