Nurse - Medicine Telemetry Specialist

Cleveland Clinic's H80 General Medicine/Telemetry unit is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population, including patients with respiratory, gastrointestinal, dialysis, diabetes, and other conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure timely interventions
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure accurate care
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two years of recent nursing experience (or military RN experience)
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods, with corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids is possible.
