Progressive Care Unit Nurse

Cleveland Clinic's Martin South Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals who require a higher level of monitoring, including telemetry.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and record patients' conditions, documenting and communicating with healthcare teams as needed.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring a smooth transition to the next level of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience, with consideration given to licensed military RN experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
