Progressive Care Unit Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit, you will work alongside passionate physicians and caregivers in a family-oriented, supportive environment. Our 100-bed hospital provides top-quality patient care to the communities in and around Martin County. In this role, you will care for patients who require a higher level of monitoring, including telemetry. Your responsibilities will include providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and administering prescribed medications and treatments. You will also assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs and educate patients and their families. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited school of professional nursing, current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, and Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and handling patients, and working under stressful conditions.
