Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit Nurse

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, monitoring their condition, and implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Monitors patients' condition and implements and monitors patient care plans
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol
- Assesses and coordinates patients' discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
- Provides teaching and educational material to patients and their families
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
