Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Reston Surgery Center. As a key member of our ambulatory surgery center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards.
  • Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
  • Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
  • Confirm that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
  • Communicate information about patient status to other staff responsible for patient care.
  • Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology required.
  • Minimum two years of surgical tech experience required, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
  • ARRT (R) certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • State license as required.
