Key Responsibilities
  • Program Instruction and Facilitation
    • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote learning and skill-building in a fun and interactive environment.
    • Lead activities and games that foster socialization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to participants as needed.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, parents, and colleagues.
    • Assist with program planning, setup, and cleanup as needed.
  • Coaching and Development
    • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and confidence.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality programs and activities.
  • Planning and Programmatic Development
    • Assist with program planning, including developing themes, activities, and materials.
    • Help to create a positive and inclusive program environment that promotes socialization, learning, and fun.
    • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program development and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a educational or recreational setting.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
    • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
