Community Outreach and Event Coordination Intern

We are a dynamic team at the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Outreach and Event Coordination Intern. As a key member of our marketing team, you will assist in planning and coordinating events, including seminars, fundraisers, and community events. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, volunteer staffing, and vendor coordination
  • Communicating with staff, vendors, and community members to ensure a smooth execution of events
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining event files
  • Supporting the creation and distribution of promotional materials, including flyers, newsletters, and social media content
  • Providing on-site support during events, including overseeing setup, managing volunteers, and addressing any issues that arise

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in event management, marketing, and community engagement. You will work closely with our experienced professionals and have the chance to develop your skills in relationship building, budget management, and volunteer coordination.

We offer a flexible schedule of approximately 15-20 hours per week, with opportunities to connect with professionals and expand your network. This is an unpaid internship, offered for college or equivalent credit.
