Audubon Companies, a prominent EPC firm, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer specializing in LNG projects. This role entails overseeing the structural engineering aspects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and maintaining the integrity of engineering designs for LNG facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client teams to assess and analyze EPC bid submissions for LNG initiatives.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the project by reviewing foundational documents such as plot plans, PFDs, SOW, BOD, and interface lists.
- Supervise contractor performance to ensure compliance with technical project requirements.
- Provide expertise in LNG Power Island and BOP design, along with knowledge of applicable US codes for LNG facilities.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve multi-disciplinary technical challenges.
- Ensure the technical integrity of engineering designs within your discipline.
- Address Technical Queries and RFIs from contractors efficiently.
- Engage in critical design reviews and confirm readiness for these evaluations.
- Track changes against the baseline scope of work.
- Evaluate the implications of deviations from the FEED package and offer guidance on piping considerations.
- Review bidders' proposals to ensure alignment with regulatory commitments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in an EPC environment.
- PE license is preferred.
- Experience leading medium to large multi-discipline projects is advantageous.
- Prior experience with LNG projects is preferred.
- Ability to quickly familiarize with project FEED and SOW documentation.
- Collaborative mindset to work alongside the client's in-house engineers and managers.
- Proficient in reviewing structural designs and plans, including foundation designs and marine structures.
- Familiarity with structural codes and standards is essential.
- Provide insights on design-related issues in accordance with technical guidelines.
