Senior Payroll Specialist

Geller & Company, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect, organize, and prepare all payroll information for complex weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls
- Coordinate digital collection and processing of timesheets for non-exempt employees
- Review new hire paperwork for completion and accuracy
- Update payroll records by entering all new hires, rehires, terminations, partial pays, compensation changes, benefits changes, and personnel updates into ADP Workforce Now
- Process payroll preview report, resolve payroll discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of all payroll information
- Coordinate and maintain employee personnel and benefits records
- Manage monthly consulting invoices and reconciliations
- Run payroll-related, month-end, and ad-hoc reports
- Reconcile all benefit invoices on a monthly basis
- Prepare and manage all employment verifications as needed
- Answer all inquiries and requests regarding payroll and benefits via email and phone
- General benefit administration
- Prepare and assist with all internal and external audits
- Quarterly tax reconciliations
- Work on ad-hoc payroll & benefits projects & assignments as needed
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience processing multi-state payrolls for 300+ employees
- ADP experience required; Preferred experience with ADP WFN
- Experience working with weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls
- Must have extremely high quality standards and be able to consistently deliver quality output
- Must be extremely detail-oriented
- Must be able to establish and follow standard processes to ensure consistent, error-free output is produced
- Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner by exercising extreme discretion
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis, variance analysis, filters, and conditional formatting)
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Must have good time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Federal, State & Local tax laws is required
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet payroll processing deadlines
- Must exhibit a sense of urgency regarding client sourcing
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- Experience with Benefits is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business is a plus
The total compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits as well as the potential for an annual bonus consideration.
The base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $132,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
