About Novate Legal Search
We are a leading legal search firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and organization of our office operations.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
Job Description:
- Core Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain files, including creation of pleading/discovery clips and index
- Maintain current and accurate information in database
- Liaison with outside storage facilities for file retrieval and maintenance
- Refile documents and maintain an organized file room
- Filing, scanning, faxing, copying, and mailing items as required
- Routine correspondence and courier duties as needed
- Order office supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a law firm/office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid CA driver's license, vehicle, and active car insurance
