About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformational Process Improvement Leader to join our team at Western & Southern Financial Group. As a key member of our Operational Excellence team, you will be responsible for driving business process improvements and leading cross-functional teams to achieve significant cost reductions and process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, manage, and develop a team of process improvement professionals to identify and execute impactful enterprise improvement projects.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the team, building their capability and ability to execute on project plans.
  • Design and deliver training programs for process improvement professionals, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to lead their own improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify transformational projects that have significant benefit to the bottom line.
  • Lead and facilitate a portfolio of Lean and Six Sigma process improvements, ensuring the effective application of methodologies to optimize business processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the application of Lean Six Sigma tools, including Kaizen, to assess current states, and develop and execute on future states that meet the needs of the business.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven insights to identify root causes, trends, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with all enterprise change management groups to implement strategies that ensure the successful adoption and sustainability of process improvements across the organization.
  • Act as a change agent and influencer at all levels of the organization, gaining buy-in from stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in process improvement and incorporate relevant advancements into the organization's methodologies.
  • Utilize Project Management Professional (PMP) expertise to manage the entire EEC program portfolio of transformational projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 7-9 years of business experience in the service industry.
  • 7-9 years of utilization of Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement tools.
  • Demonstrated influence with leaders and associates, including gaining the confidence and trust of others.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including listening, presenting, speaking, and writing.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when handling demanding situations.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to conceptualize, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate data and information.
  • Organizational courage to hold peers and others accountable for results.
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn new concepts and break old paradigms.
  • Demonstrated strong customer focus and work ethic.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, providing direction, influencing, and guiding team members.
  • Demonstrated history of executing with urgency, proficiency, and passion.
  • Statistical analysis applications and tools, including Minitab, control charts, regression analysis, and DOE.
  • CSSBB - Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI certification.
