About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team at Bob Evans Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving process excellence and leading projects to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing principles and tools
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
  • Design and implement new Lean strategies and program elements to drive business growth and change
  • Collaborate with site leadership teams to identify and prioritize projects
  • Develop and provide training on CI/Lean principles and tools
  • Mentor and coach plant leaders and project teams to facilitate culture change
  • Ensure alignment on initiatives, CI principles, and methodology within the site
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial) preferred
  • Practical experience with implementation and sustaining of continuous improvement programs (Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Productive Manufacturing, statistical process control, etc.)
  • Skill and experience in yield optimization & cost reduction, production efficiencies & quality improvements
  • Black Belt certification is preferred
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing cost calculations, gathering production information/scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • Ability to attend off-site training
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will be expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained.
