Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will have the opportunity to perform personal care tasks that assist clients with their daily living activities, which may include:

  • Helping clients transfer or move throughout their home
  • Conducting housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to guidelines
  • Accompanying clients on errands or to medical appointments
  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Supporting prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Offering companionship through activities like reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as required for the role
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred
