About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to join our team as a Firearms Sales Specialist at Bass Pro Shops. This role involves maintaining Counter Sales and Customer Service for Firearms, as well as Floor and Counter Sales of other Hunting Merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care and providing information, assistance, and direction to customers.
  • Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations, as well as GCA requirements.
  • Promote programs, including CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
  • Complete 4473 Forms thoroughly and accurately.
  • Demonstrate product to customers and provide recommendations based on their needs.
  • Organize and maintain merchandise within the retail store for sales at the Gun Counter.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Retail, preferably in firearms sales.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lift objects up to 100 pounds (utilizing a team lift as needed).
