Field Project Overview:

No prior experience is required for this position. If you are dedicated, possess a positive mindset, and are eager to learn a trade in solar construction, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. MOSS has been recognized as the leading Solar Contractor in the nation for 2023 and is seeking team members to engage in the construction of large-scale solar energy projects across various sites. This role involves outdoor work in diverse weather conditions, requiring extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting substantial materials. The starting pay is $20 per hour, with opportunities for career advancement and long-term growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acquire knowledge on how to excel and maintain safety on solar projects.
  • Utilize hand tools such as tape measures, wrenches, hammers, drills, rivet guns, shovels, grinders, and rakes.
  • May operate machinery including PD10, Skid Steer, and/or Excavator.
  • Perform various general labor tasks on solar project sites.
  • May take on roles such as Millwright, Solar PV Installer, or Quality Control Representative.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned or requested.
  • Be prepared for extended work hours, with shifts lasting up to 12 hours; overtime and weekend or holiday work may be necessary.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Enjoyment of outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Reliable transportation to and from project sites is essential.
  • For certain roles, experience operating Skid Steer, PD10, and/or Excavator is preferred.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor, reflecting Moss's core values.
  • A pre-employment drug test is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment.
