Solar Project Manager Job Description

IEA Constructors LLC is seeking a highly skilled Solar Project Manager to lead our solar energy projects from acquisition through pre-construction, execution, and close-out. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that established practices, procedures, and company goals are implemented in the key areas of safety, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project team through all phases of the project, including acquisition, pre-construction, execution, and close-out.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage project risks, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with all stakeholders, including project updates, progress reports, and issue resolution.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure that all project activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of solar or EPC construction industry experience, including knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and construction management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage project budgets and finances.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
