Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist sought for a full-time position in a supportive healthcare environment

About the Role:

This position involves assisting physicians in executing invasive cardiovascular procedures. The specialist will perform essential radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging techniques to accurately demonstrate catheter placement and document findings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support physicians during procedures by managing guide wires and catheters, administering contrast agents, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Conduct pre-procedural patient care activities and monitor patient conditions throughout the procedures.
  • Prepare and operate clinical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedural progress.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team and enhance patient care.


Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or a related Radiology Technology program.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or equivalent experience.
  • Certification and licensure as mandated by state regulations for Radiologic Technologists or Surgical Technologists.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within a specified timeframe post-hire.
