Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and equip examination rooms for various procedures.
- Organize daily schedules and perform necessary clerical tasks.
- Integrate patient history and previous imaging studies to optimize examinations.
- Consult with physicians to determine the most appropriate examinations.
- Provide patient education and support before and after procedures.
- Adapt examinations to address patient care challenges as they arise.
- Conduct x-ray examinations while adhering to safety protocols.
- Evaluate patients for pregnancy prior to exams as necessary.
- Perform surgical x-ray examinations following established standards.
- Engage in other patient care activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Preferred experience of at least one year.
- Knowledge of age-specific care principles.
- Competency in venipuncture.
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems.
- ARRT (R) Certification required.
- Current BLS certification at the time of hire.
