About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing and Cost Analyst III to join our team at Chenega MIOS SBU. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (DAF RCO) and the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition Special Programs Division (SAF/AQL).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on cost and pricing issues to procurement personnel, ensuring compliance with federal, Department of Defense (DoD), and Air Force acquisition policy, law, regulation, and guidance.

  • Support the Chief of Pricing in resolving complex cost and pricing issues, utilizing extensive contracting and pricing experience and knowledge of federal, DoD, and Air Force contracting and pricing regulations, policies, and processes.

  • Assist Contracting Officers in determining cost objectives and ensuring they are based on sound pricing principles, acting as the primary cost/price analyst on extremely complex or sensitive contracting issues.

  • Conduct in-depth analytical and judgmental evaluations of proposals to determine reasonableness, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness, reviewing and evaluating contract price proposals for adequacy and compliance with laws, regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

  • Manage significant and complex agency acquisitions involving diverse supplies and services, evaluating technical, audit reports, and legal opinions to determine the various cost elements or justified exceptions in terms of factors, like risk, extent of government assistance, problems of capital investment, and extent of subcontracting.

  • Develop and implement cost and pricing strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize business outcomes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address cost and pricing challenges.

  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to inform cost and pricing decisions and ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements

  • Master of Art/Master of Science/Master of Engineering (MA/MS/ME) degree required.

  • 10+ years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience with no less than 2 years of experience in an SAP and/or SCI environment with at least 1 year of that total being within the past 5 years.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Proficient in classified accounting systems; Momentum preferred.

  • Active and valid driver's license.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
