Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team in the Philadelphia office.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll through ADP Workforce Now. This includes ensuring accurate calculation and timely submission of federal, state, and local payroll taxes, including withholding, filing, and reporting. They will also perform payroll reconciliations, reviewing and verifying discrepancies related to deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related transactions.

This is a key role that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on payroll management experience and extensive experience working with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations is essential, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate, review, and analyze payroll reports, providing necessary payroll data for management, finance teams, and external auditors.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms at year-end, ensuring that all employee earnings and deductions are accurately reported.
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll processing, employee data, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on payroll management experience.
  • Extensive experience working with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Benefits

Our company offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus medical (100% employer paid), dental, vision, STD/LTD, employer 401(k) contribution, and unlimited PTO.
