Job Overview:

Gateway Search Associates seeks a seasoned Compensation Specialist to oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing through ADP Workforce Now. This role requires expertise in all aspects of payroll, including tax calculations, W-2 preparation, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Manage the payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing through ADP Workforce Now.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate calculation and submission of federal, state, and local payroll taxes, including withholding, filing, and reporting.
  • Reconciliations: Perform payroll reconciliations, reviewing and verifying discrepancies related to deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Payroll Audits: Conduct regular audits of payroll data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate, review, and analyze payroll reports, providing necessary payroll data for management, finance teams, and external auditors.
  • W-2 and Year-End Processing: Manage the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms at year-end, ensuring that all employee earnings and deductions are accurately reported.
  • ADP Workforce Now: Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll processing, employee data, and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain accurate and efficient payroll operations.
  • Employee Inquiries: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll-related inquiries, providing clear and timely communication regarding pay discrepancies, benefits, and tax-related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes, implement best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Supervision and Team Support: Provide leadership and guidance to the payroll team, ensuring proper training and development to maintain a high level of performance.

About Gateway Search Associates:

We offer competitive salaries, including an estimated $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD benefits, employer 401(k) contribution, and unlimited PTO.
