Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client's dynamic insurance defense team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting and filing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from various sources.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring that all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to gather information and provide updates on case status.
  • Manage and track case deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents.
  • Prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist with trial preparation and support.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Assistant Certification, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in insurance defense or litigation.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
