Clinical Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the coordination and delivery of patient care in our Intensive Care Unit.
Responsibilities:- Systematically assess the health care of patients/families and responses to care rendered
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills to problem solve and initiate clinical decision making
- Evaluate patient progress toward health goals and modifies critical path or plan of care accordingly
- Develop, coordinate, and provide direct care for specific patient assignments
- Provide safe environment for patients/families
- Provide comprehensive direct patient care to assigned patients
- Communicate effectively with patient/family and members of the health care team
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN required
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service; or combination of education and experience acceptable to Clinical Director of Nursing or designee
