Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team in the Emergency Department.
Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care services for a designated unit, location, or patient population. This role requires strong clinical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and implement patient care services for a designated unit, location, or patient population.
- Monitor performance of nursing personnel in maintaining MMC standards of practice of nursing.
- Coach and provide feedback to nursing personnel as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement/research activities.
- Contribute to the actualization of the vision, philosophy, and balanced performance measures of the discipline.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification.
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service.
- Demonstrates clinical leadership, problem-solving skills, competency, and principles of Montefiore Excellence.
- Computer literate.
