Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Operating Room department.
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on operating room procedures and patient safety.
Responsibilities will include coordinating patient care, leading a team of nursing staff, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
This is a night shift position, requiring the ability to work alternate weekends.
Requirements
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service; or combination of education and experience acceptable to Clinical Director of Nursing or designee.
- Demonstrates clinical leadership, problem-solving skills, competency and principles of Montefiore Excellence.
- Computer literate
- BLS
- Infection Control
