Strategic Business Integration Consultant

Position Overview:
Brief Summary:
This role is focused on leading significant initiatives, overseeing financial management, and possessing a comprehensive understanding of health information systems.
Detailed Responsibilities:
The Business Integration Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving strategic projects. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the principal coordinator for the project aimed at enhancing quality and population health through NC HealthConnex, including the finalization of project design and future strategic planning.
- Oversee policy and financial strategies related to this project, including the development and execution of plans to assist provider organizations in their participation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Health Information Exchange Authority and Medicaid experts.
- Gather and analyze feedback from various stakeholders, including health plans and providers, to inform strategic decisions.
- Supervise a small team dedicated to supporting this initiative.
- Manage budgeting, invoicing, and contracts as necessary.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Experience and Knowledge:
· Strong understanding of healthcare data policies and the broader healthcare ecosystem; familiarity with health information technology and quality improvement processes.
