Position Overview:

Brief Summary:

This role is focused on leading significant initiatives, overseeing financial management, and possessing a comprehensive understanding of health information systems.

Detailed Responsibilities:

The Business Integration Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving strategic projects. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the principal coordinator for the project aimed at enhancing quality and population health through NC HealthConnex, including the finalization of project design and future strategic planning.
  • Oversee policy and financial strategies related to this project, including the development and execution of plans to assist provider organizations in their participation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Health Information Exchange Authority and Medicaid experts.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from various stakeholders, including health plans and providers, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Supervise a small team dedicated to supporting this initiative.
  • Manage budgeting, invoicing, and contracts as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Experience and Knowledge:

· Strong understanding of healthcare data policies and the broader healthcare ecosystem; familiarity with health information technology and quality improvement processes.

· Proven experience in leading large-scale, complex projects.

· Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

· Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

· Proven track record of fostering collaborative relationships with both internal and external partners.
