Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Investment Analysis: Assist in analyzing and underwriting real estate debt opportunities across the western region of the US, including senior debt, mezzanine, and preferred equity structures.
  2. Asset Management: Support the Firm's asset management team in monitoring and managing existing real estate debt opportunities across the western region of the US.
  3. Financial Modeling: Prepare and confirm pro forma cash flow projections for potential investment opportunities across all property types, structures, and risk profiles for multiple real estate funds and separate accounts.
  4. Market Research: Analyze property data and reports, including operating statements, rent rolls, leasing reports, and appraisals, to assist in concluding the feasibility of investment opportunities.
  5. Due Diligence: Coordinate and participate in due diligence and closing processes relating to investment opportunities.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other groups, such as research and portfolio management.
Requirements
  1. 2-3 years of professional commercial real estate experience.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Real Estate.
  3. General understanding of real estate finance, property valuation, and investment analysis.
  4. Excellent communicator with strong writing skills.
  5. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  6. Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and handle ambiguity.
  7. Enjoys working in a dynamic team environment.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  9. Proficiency in Argus.
  10. Some travel may be required.
