Job Summary:

The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our primary and regional sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and fostering positive tenant relations. This role requires strong accountability, communication, organization, negotiation, and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage day-to-day operations of primary and regional sites, including safety and preventive measures.">
  • Lead the hiring and retention of property employees.">
  • Supervise building managers and staff.">
  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, including coordinating maintenance projects to maintain or upgrade properties to code.">
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory building codes.">
  • Manage relationships with vendors, architects, engineers, industry professionals, tenants, and internal colleagues.">
  • Conduct annual unit inspections to ensure program compliance.">
  • Perform visual inspections for properties in the portfolio.">
  • Manage arrears collection.">
  • Oversee the annual certification/recertification process.">
  • Prepare and review section 8 packages.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.">
  • 3-5 years' experience in property management, including Affordable Housing programs (Section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit).">
  • Previous supervisory experience (office and maintenance staff).">
  • Knowledge and experience with annual certifications.">
  • Flexible in travel requirements.">
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).">
  • Yardi software knowledge.">
  • Budget and Financial background required.">
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.">
  • Multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.">
  • Familiarity with housing laws, especially affordable housing.">

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
