Job Description

Unicon Pharma Inc is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator I-B2 to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. As an Equipment Operator I-B2, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of simple automated assembly machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the continued operation of assembly machines through interpretation of and appropriate response to machine faults.
  • Perform simple, repetitive tasks associated with machine operation and operate machines that require a low level of attentiveness.
  • Ensure that medical devices are assembled with the highest quality possible.
  • Perform work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition, and inventory management systems.
  • Operate machines, jigs and fixtures to produce good quality products at established run rates.
  • Read and interpret gauges and dials as required on equipment.
  • Able to interpret machine faults, rectify problem, and restart machine.
  • Complete production records and work order documentation as needed.
  • Perform inspection or testing of product to ensure good quality.
  • Weigh, count, package, and label finished product.
Requirements:
  • Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferred.
  • Able to read and understand procedures.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Travel Requirements: Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time.
  • Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Use solvents, glue, or solder. Must be able to perform visual inspections with and without the aid of magnification tools.
