About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Patient Transport Coordinator to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our transportation services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients throughout our hospital.
Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to supervise patient transport team members, monitor department performance, and lead training programs. With approximately 1-2 years of related work experience, you will be responsible for preparing reports, monitoring productivity, and collaborating with various personnel across the hospital.
Required Skills:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Approximately 1-2 years of progressively more responsible related work experience
- Ability to prepare reports using hospital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective leadership and collaboration
- Flexibility in work assignments and willingness to work on weekends and holidays
