Job Summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Strategist Senior to join its Department of Strategy (DOS). This individual will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives that drive the organization's tripartite mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in the preparation of data for strategic plans and business cases for enterprise-wide and program-specific clinical, teaching, and research priorities and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of healthcare data analytics and reimbursement trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to extract and analyze data to derive insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support the development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Work closely with Michigan Medicine's strategic affiliates to ensure successful and mutually rewarding affiliations.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Services Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 4 years of healthcare experience, with 6+ years of data analytics experience for the Senior role.
  • Strong passion for data, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
  • Ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
