Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Mail & Scanning Associate (ME) to join our team. As a Mail & Scanning Associate, you will be responsible for completing mail inserting hand-work on provided audit sheets, performing mail metering on the Pitney and Bowes mail machine, and sorting, opening, and scanning client mail.
  • You will also be required to maintain client databases, assign scanned documents to appropriate digital departments depending on client requirements, and switch between scanning and handwork when needed.

Requirements:

  • You should have experience in scanning documents and operating office equipment, or be willing to learn.
  • You must be self-directed, able to continually look for ways to improve work, eager to learn and grow.
  • You should be able to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and deadlines.
  • You should have strong aptitude with office computer programs, navigating websites, etc.
  • You must be highly organized, with strong attention to detail; disciplined in keeping your work area clean and neat.
  • You should be able to communicate effectively and take direction from supervisors.
  • You must be reliable, with regular and consistent attendance.
  • You should be a team player, with a cooperative spirit.
  • You should be safety conscious with the ability to perform job functions in a safe manner.

Physical Requirements:

  • You should be able to stand for 8-12 hours.
  • You should be able to frequently lift 10-20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • You should be able to bend, push, and pull carts.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is $18-$19 per hour, depending on experience.
