We are seeking an experienced Senior Solar Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a Senior Solar Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of utility-scale PV solar and BESS projects.

About the Role:
  • Lead the design and development of utility-scale PV solar and BESS projects
  • Develop electrical design packages for BESS projects
  • Perform QA/QC for medium voltage collection system design
  • Develop single line diagrams, collection system layouts, communication diagrams, power cable sizing, and cable schedules
  • Ensure compliance with fire, electrical, and building codes
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in project meetings
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in utility-scale PV solar and BESS
  • Strong understanding of inverter-based technologies and electrical equipment
Work Environment:

This role is fully in-office with flexibility. Our team operates out of a smaller office in Lakewood, CO, and we offer great flexibility around schedules and provide resources to help candidates grow and develop within the company.
