Job Title: Cleanroom Operator-Team Lead

NY CREATES is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleanroom Operator-Team Lead to join our team. As a Cleanroom Operator-Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Cleanroom Operators and ensuring the smooth operation of the cleanroom/production line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Cleanroom Operators and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure the cleanroom/production line is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and resolve functional problems and interface with supervisors, engineers, and vendors to explain problems.
  • Ensure that MPS's, Controlled Environmental Clean room, and Safety guidelines are followed and understood by Cleanroom Operator staff.
  • Participate in training/mentoring Cleanroom Operator level I, level II, and level III staff.
  • Participate in the scheduling of other staff to ensure smooth operation of the clean room/production line.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an associate degree in a relevant technical field and two to five years of equivalent experience.
  • Must obtain a Level 3 certification on assigned tool sets.
  • Excellent mechanical skills, excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organized with attention to detail, have the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to participate in tool recipe building and adjustments.
  • Ability to wear a respirator (half face/full face), if assigned to the photolithography department.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.
