Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleanroom Operator Team Lead to join our team at NY CREATES. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating complex tools and tool clusters, performing inspections, tests, diagnoses, repairs, and troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance and leadership to other technical personnel and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple complex tools and tool clusters with minimal supervision
  • Perform inspections, tests, diagnoses, repairs, and troubleshooting of tools and equipment
  • Provide technical assistance and leadership to other technical personnel and management
  • Participate in training and mentoring of Cleanroom Operator level I, II, and III staff
  • Participate in scheduling of other staff to ensure smooth operation of the clean room/production line
  • Identify functional problems, take corrective action, and interface with supervisors, engineers, and vendors to explain problems
  • Ensure compliance with MPS's, Controlled Environmental Clean room, and Safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Minimum of an associate degree in a relevant technical field
  • Two to five years of equivalent experience in a highly technical/engineering environment
  • Good mechanical skills, excellent computer literacy, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to participate in tool recipe building and adjustments
  • Ability to wear a respirator (half face/full face), if assigned to the photolithography department
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift
