LPN Nursing Position - Part Time 1st Shift

At Park Vista Senior Housing Management, LLC, we prioritize the well-being and dignity of our residents. As a Part Time 1st Shift LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the training of staff and ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Be on-call as needed to provide timely support and address any concerns.
  • Perform evaluations and assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Manage resident's TB screening and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Update services plans with PT, OT, VNA, Home Health Services, and Hospice, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Assist the Director of Healthcare in gathering data and creating service plans.
  • Present in-services for staff, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Ensure quality customer service and performance, upholding our community's values.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Assist in transfer/discharge arrangements, ensuring a smooth transition for our residents.
  • Assist the Director of Healthcare in notifying Doctor and family of any health concerns.
  • Assist in performing and/or supervising monthly vital signs and weight checks.
  • Maintain first aid kits and blood spill kits, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Assist the Director of Healthcare in overseeing all medication reminders and management.
  • Assist in proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of nursing equipment and supplies, performing annual inventory of health care-related items.
Requirements:
  • LPN licensure and certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
