We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at 1st Class Security. As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and preventing shoplifting, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to identify and apprehend shoplifters
- Monitor CCTV footage to prevent and detect shoplifting
- Write clear and concise reports to document incidents and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment for our clients
- Provide courtroom testimony as required
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
- Previous loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
- Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports
- Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
- Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
- Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
- Competitive hourly rate of $21.00
