The Customer Experience Associate is a vital member of our team at Weis Markets, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, answering their questions and resolving their concerns in a professional manner.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash registers, performing all related check-out procedures, including bagging merchandise and handling customer payments.
  • Merchandise Management: Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layouts to assist customers with their purchases.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including counters, display cases, and equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to maintain a smooth store operation and continuously improve job performance.
  • Adherence to Company Policies: Follow all company guidelines, including those related to customer service, cash handling, and security procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with no prior experience required.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
