Job Title: Program Officer, Full Lives Initiative

Greater Twin Cities United Way is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Officer to lead the Full Lives initiative, focusing on advancing food justice and developing a thriving, equitable regional food system in the Twin Cities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community food systems, including principles of food justice, sustainability, and local food economies. They will be able to lead the strategic direction of the initiative, collaborate with community partners, and manage grantmaking activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction of the Full Lives initiative
  • Collaborate with community partners to advance food justice and sustainability
  • Manage grantmaking activities and oversee project work plans
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and expenses
  • Advocate for equitable food systems and food justice

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in program management and/or grantmaking
  • Strong understanding of community food systems and principles of food justice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead adult learning and facilitate collaboration
