Job Overview

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing daily upkeep and cleanliness of our apartment communities, including landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping. You will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks, including repairs, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of apartment communities, including landscaping and amenities
  • Operate a pressure washer and other janitorial equipment
  • Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights
  • Use a vacuum cleaner and other janitorial equipment, both manual and power
  • Handle chemicals with close attention to safety rules
  • Available for after-hours emergencies
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a maintenance technician role or two years of experience in a related field
  • Janitorial experience preferred
  • Motivation, time management, and ability to follow instructions
  • Intermediate knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications and directions
  • Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices
