Position Overview:
Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is seeking a qualified per diem Speech Language Therapist for our Therapy and Resource Center.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves a variety of essential functions, including:

  • Delivering high-quality and ethical clinical services.
  • Fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Providing direct speech and language services to children aged 0-22 with diverse special needs.
  • Utilizing innovative therapeutic techniques, including co-treatment and collaboration with other specialists such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
  • Participating in a multidisciplinary team approach to support children in reaching their full potential.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and paperwork in our systems.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification and state licensure as a Speech Language Practitioner in good standing.
  • Experience in conducting evaluations and ongoing assessments.
  • Proficiency in writing reports, treatment plans, and setting goals.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with children with various disabilities and special needs.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of clients and the team.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating respect and encouragement.
  • Initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • A commitment to the values and mission of our organization.
  • Participation in collaborative meetings and treatment planning.
  • Effective emotional and verbal communication skills with clients and families.

About Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services:
Since its inception, Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services has been dedicated to providing comprehensive support to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our services encompass food and financial assistance, senior services, mental health counseling, career support, and family services.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $85.00.

Work Environment:
This position requires in-person engagement.
