Position Overview:
Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is seeking a dedicated per diem Speech Language Practitioner to join our dynamic team at the Toby and Leon Cooperman Therapy and Resource Center.
Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a variety of essential functions, including but not limited to:
- Delivering high-quality and ethical clinical services.
- Fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and fellow professionals.
- Providing direct speech and language services to children aged 0-22 with diverse special needs.
- Utilizing innovative therapeutic approaches, including co-treatment strategies and collaboration with other specialists such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
- Engaging in a multidisciplinary team approach to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and paperwork in our systems.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certification and state licensure as a Speech Language Practitioner in good standing.
- Experience in conducting evaluations and ongoing assessments.
- Proficiency in writing reports, treatment plans, and setting goals.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with children across a spectrum of disabilities and special needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of clients and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinic.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating respect, encouragement, and supportive feedback.
- Initiative, problem-solving abilities, and effective organizational skills.
- A commitment to our values and mission, participating actively in collaborative meetings and treatment planning.
- Effective emotional and verbal communication skills with clients and families.

Compensation:
The pay for this position is $85.00 per hour.
