Position Overview:
Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently in search of a per diem Speech Language Therapist for our Therapy and Resource Center.
Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Delivering high-quality and ethical clinical services.
- Fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to children within the center.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and behavior analysts, to enhance therapy outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records in our systems.
Client Focus:
The Therapist will engage with children aged 0-22 who present with a range of special needs and diagnoses. Innovative therapy methods, including co-treatment approaches, will be utilized to support each child's developmental goals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certification and state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist in good standing.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with children with diverse disabilities and special needs.
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and ongoing assessments.
- Strong skills in report writing, treatment planning, and goal setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, demonstrating respect and encouragement towards clients and families.
- A commitment to our mission and values, along with the ability to participate in collaborative meetings and treatment planning.
About Us:

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $85.00.
Work Environment:
This role requires in-person engagement at our facility.
