Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Lead to join our team at Conagra Brands. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of production staff to ensure the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to production staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their job responsibilities effectively.
  • Assist with the supervision of sanitation operations to promote and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Evaluate subordinate performance, communicate with employees, and provide feedback and coaching to improve work performance.
  • Participate in the support of plant and company safety programs to promote and maintain a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, or other related field preferred.
  • Two years or more of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety procedures.
  • Ability to distinguish normal and abnormal conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

Annual Base Salary: $60,000.00 - $104,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
