Surgical Team Member

As a Surgical Technician at RWJBarnabas Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in the operating room. In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, you will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
**Responsibilities:**
* Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
* Ensure patient's physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
* Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse to provide individualized care to patients.
* Maintain accurate records and reports.
**Requirements:**
* Completion or Graduate from an accredited Technical program.
* Certification required.
* Current BLS required (American Heart Association).
* Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation.
