Job Summary

As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a critical role in the operating room, working closely with surgeons to ensure the highest level of patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our perioperative services.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver intraoperative patient care as the first assistant to the surgeon(s) as a collaborative team member.
Maintain accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team.
Function as a member of the surgical team and contribute to the overall efficiency of the perioperative department.
Participate in professional development and life-long learning.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Less than 2 years of experience.
CERT SURG TECH FIRST ASSIST certification.
Surgical Technician certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree.
2-5 years of experience.
No supervisor experience.
